A Little Bit About Me

I'm Malana Lane-Topham. I'm a young screenwriter based in north London with a keen interest in anything to do with film - writing, making, watching and reviewing!

I began studying film in college, and have continued this in university, doing a combination of theory and practical filmmaking. While my main interest lies in screenwriting, whether it be my own ideas or helping somebody else develop theirs, I have also developed many other practical skills during my studies and other work experiences, including acting as a cinematographer, directing, being a production assistant for a music video, set design, costuming and editing both films and trailers.

I've had experience working on professional sets, both in front of and behind the camera, as well as years of experience acting in or helping create independent/student productions.
